  3. Put the beans into a large bowl and mash them with a potato masher. Add in the onion/carrots mixture, the parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Shallow fry the patties for about 2 minutes each side in medium-hot vegetable oil.
