  1. Dice onion and peppers and saute in bacon fat or butter till soft over med high heat
  2. Once soft add your flour and stir till you do not smell the flour anymore.
  3. Add beer and let simmer for about 5 minutes
  4. Add chicken broth and half and half continue to stir.
  5. Once this is brought to a low boil add cheese to soup and you are done!!!! It may seen thin but let it sit for a few minutes and it's perfect!!
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Done and ready to serve!

Stir in the soup, beer, milk, Worcestershire sauce, parsley and paprika. Reduce heat; stir in cheese until melted. But it is all-American cheesy comfort food, and worth every last indulgent bite. Stir in half of the crumbled bacon. Ladle soup into bowls and top with remaining bacon.
